Hotel Astoria Superior - Bled

Polite and excellent staff, clean rooms, nice food.

Excellent location, clean and renovated room at quite cheap price, good buffet at breakfast.

Good location, more or less directly on the main bus station. Easy to reach the lake and surroundings by foot. Room without view but very quiet, no traffic etc..

Room a bit too basic for the price we paid, as its in the older part of the hotel. So not choose the economic room if you expect comfort.

As for me, rooms were nice with a single bed, they offered wake-up service. The breakfast was good with sweets and cheese, as example and frequently replenished👌👌

Reception and downstairs looked really good. Breakfast was very well presented and there was plenty of food. Make sure you ask for a refurbished room if you stay here. If they give you an unrefurbished room go somewhere else.

The room they gave us was very dark and dingy and falling apart. There was no wifi working in the room. The shower was useless and sprayed all over the place and was not adjustable. Photo's on the booking site did not adequately reflect what you were actually getting. As we were checking out we found that we had an unrefurbished room and there were other refurbished rooms (with wifi) that were much better. For the price we paid we should have been offered one of the better rooms. Worst place we have stayed in on our trip so far.

Evrything was perfect; best price; best location and good view from the room to the castle.

Our family enjoyed a lovely night here. The children adored the delicious breakfast buffet, especially the pancakes! The TV angle made viewing from the sofa difficult. Be sure to request a room with a better layout for comfort. A nice stay.

Very nice hotel, location is perfect - 200 meters from Lake Bled, the staff is really kind and helpful. Breakfast is good, the price is also fair.

The location of the hotel is just perfect!!! We took a standard room, which was very comfortable and clean. Breakfast was OK.

There were some violin players practising quite often in their rooms... fortunatelly not in our neighbour room:)

I was thrilled with how close I was to Lake Bled, just a few minutes' walk away. The wonderful array of cafes and restaurants in the area. I particularly enjoyed the superb breakfast buffet that offered a wide variety of options to fuel my adventures.

This hotel is great for any and all people. The staff were great, rooms were great, breakfast was awesome

The staff was VERY helpful. Our room was actually a small suite. Very basic and somewhat shabby, but clean. We think it was good value for the money. Nice breakfast buffet. We would recommend a meal at the castle restaurant associated with this hotel (the price includes entrance to the castle itself!).

The parking is rather limited. The bathroom is sort of dark.

The whole story in a nutshell

This large, modern hotel nearly stole my heart. The staff were friendly, and the evening meals were superb and affordable. Its location offers tranquility, great to enjoy our balcony without the pesky mosquitoes found near the waterfront. A good three-night escape!
